Important Information For VyStar Members Regarding Coronavirus


Economic Impact Payments are being distributed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to eligible recipients. To get your funds faster, the IRS recommends signing up for direct deposit. For more information, please visit the IRS website.

If you will receive the payment electronically, we encourage you to check your account regularly via Internet Banking to determine when funds have posted to your account. If you haven’t already, sign up for direct deposit text alerts and receive alert when your deposit has posted to your account.

Small Business Relief Programs

The City of Jacksonville and VyStar Credit Union are collaborating on a loan program to assist local small businesses affected by the COVID-19 response. The City’s contribution to the Small Business Lending Program will be between $20 to $30 million, which will be used to provide a combination of grants, interest payments and potential aid toward the principal of the loan, with some elements tied to employee retention.

Jacksonville businesses affected by COVID-19 can apply for the City of Jacksonville COVID-19 Community Relief Loan.

Loan Relief Program

VyStar Credit Union recognizes the financial strain many of our members are experiencing due to concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are offering payment relief for various loan products to help alleviate the stress associated with making your monthly loan payments.

VyStar will continue to monitor developments on COVID-19 and evaluate our member relief efforts as necessary.

Branch Changes:

VyStar is temporarily closing select locations, including drive-thru lanes, and modifying our hours of operation.

Drive-thru hours are as follows*:

Expanded drive-thru services:  We have broadened our drive-thru capabilities to accommodate almost every transaction, with the exception of safe deposit box access. If you need access to your safe deposit box, please call your local branch to schedule an appointment.​

Waived Late Fees

As a further effort to assist our members, VyStar is waiving and/or refunding late fees assessed or paid in March, and no late fees will be assessed on consumer loans or mortgages through May 31, 2020.
